Increasingly councils and environmental agencies are requiring builders and development works to take account of the streams, creeks and other aquatic features that will be affected by their activities. This can take the form of silt prevention, prevention of other pollution events such as oil, sprays and concrete or it could be a requirement to survey the aquatic life before works begin and it often entails removal of fish from waterways that will be affected and transfer to other sites.

Paul has done a lot of this work and is very experienced at working with large construction companies. He is particularly aware of their need to accomplish these environmental goals without undue disruption to the work schedule and with absolute compliance to the OSH and other compliance codes.
Equally important, as a friendly sort of bloke, Paul usually manages to get alongside the various other contractors on a construction site who often go away not only with a new mate and a well completed job but with a newly acquired knowledge of and interest in native freshwater fish and the environment.
